Residence and work of foreign nationals in France

Idir KHENNOUS

Consultant in Professional immigration & international mobility

Holder of a Master’s degree (Master 2) in Law from the University of Lille, I have built solid experience in immigration law through administrative support, training and information activities.

In particular, I ran a volunteer legal advice service at La Cimade, where I supported numerous foreign nationals with their administrative procedures. This experience gave me insight into a wide range of situations, including residence permit applications and renewals, status changes, the residence of foreign students, family immigration, access to the labour market, and the main administrative procedures applicable to foreign nationals in France.

I also work as a civic trainer as part of the Republican Integration Contract (CIR) on behalf of the French Office for Immigration and Integration (OFII). This activity keeps me in daily contact with foreign nationals and lets me answer their questions about their integration journey, their rights, their obligations, and the main administrative procedures related to their stay in France.

Drawing on this experience, I offer administrative support as well as training in the main areas of immigration law, particularly professional immigration, family immigration, student residence, international mobility, and access to the labour market.

My goal is to support businesses, professionals and foreign nationals with a rigorous, educational service tailored to the specifics of each situation — making their administrative procedures easier and helping them better understand the legal framework governing the residence and employment of foreign nationals.
